Whether something has broken, your website needs ongoing care, or you are ready to improve or rebuild it, Upkeep gives you direct access to experienced WordPress specialists.
From one-off fixes and content updates to managed hosting, WooCommerce and bespoke development, we will help you find the sensible next step.
When something important stops working, the last thing you need is a technical runaround.
Upkeep gives you direct access to experienced WordPress developers who can investigate the problem, explain what is happening in plain English and help you understand the safest route forward.
We work with existing and inherited WordPress websites, including sites built with Elementor, WPBakery, Jupiter and WooCommerce.
Where the issue is clear, we will provide a quote before work begins.
Some WordPress problems are less predictable than others, particularly when a site contains old software, custom code or several conflicting plugins. Where the cause is unclear, we will explain how we recommend investigating it and keep you informed before committing to substantial additional work.
You will be invoiced once the agreed work has been completed.
Your website
address
WordPress administrator access
Hosting or server access
Domain or
DNS access
Details of any recent website changes
Screenshots or copies of error messages
Plugin, integration or form information

Complete our secure enquiry form and outline the issue in your own words. Include the website address, when the problem began and anything that may have recently changed.

We gather the access we need and review the website. An experienced developer investigates the likely cause and explains the options clearly.

Once we understand the problem, we will confirm the recommended work and expected cost. Nothing substantial begins without your approval.

We take the appropriate backups, complete the agreed repair and test the affected parts of the website. Once finished, we document what was done and let you know that everything is ready.
We cannot confirm the repair, final cost or timescale until we have inspected the website.
Occasionally, a website may contain unsupported software, compromised code or wider technical problems that make an immediate repair unsafe. When that happens, we will explain what we have found and set out the sensible options.
“Our web developments are usually ambitious and complicated, but we are yet to come across a problem they haven’t been able to solve.”
Abbie Dickson-Davies
Head of Marketing, Propp
“Regular face-to-face meetings with the team in Winchester have been important to me, but their swift and professional telephone and email support is also invaluable to any business.”
Jamie Pankhurst
Founder & Managing Director, Wilde Trout
“All parts of the web project were provided on time and to budget, and the team have been a joy to work with.”
Nikki Bream
Group Managing Director, Hazeley Group
“They really understand our charity and our audiences and deliver high quality solutions that meet our goals.”
Kay Mitchell
Head of Communications, WinACC

You will speak to real UK-based people who understand WordPress. Never a chatbot or anonymous call centre. Your issue is reviewed by the technical team responsible for helping resolve it.

We will explain what has happened, why it matters and what we recommend doing next without hiding behind jargon.

We do not need to have designed, built or hosted your website. We are happy to investigate inherited, ageing and imperfect WordPress setups.

We will not recommend a rebuild when a sensible repair will do. Where continued repair is no longer safe or economical, we will explain the alternatives honestly.
Once the agreed work has been completed, we provide a clear summary of what we found, what we changed, whether anything else needs attention and any recommended steps to reduce the chance of recurrence.
There is no obligation to enter an ongoing support plan. Where regular maintenance, backups or monitoring would reduce future problems, we can explain the relevant Upkeep care options.
